Affordable Bathroom Remodeling Cost in Arlington TX
Every bathroom is different, so every bathroom remodel cost in Arlington is too. We provide detailed, itemized estimates so you know exactly where your investment goes.
Most bathroom remodels in Arlington land in one of three ranges: around $15,000 for a refresh with a new tub or shower surround, vanity, fixtures and floor tile; around $25,000 for a full remodel in the same layout; and $42,000 and up for a primary bath with a tiled walk-in shower, a new layout or moved plumbing. Financing is available through a third-party service on our estimates, and we fix the price in writing after a free in-home visit. Read the full bathroom remodel cost guide for what is in each range.
Master Bath vs. Half-Bath
A master bathroom remodel naturally costs more than a small half-bath; more square footage means more materials, labor, and time. The size and type of your bathroom are one of the biggest price factors.
Layout Changes
Moving fixtures like toilets, showers, or vanities means plumbing modifications, which add complexity and cost. Keeping your existing layout is the easiest way to control your bathroom remodel cost.
Plumbing & Electrical Updates
Older Arlington homes often need updated supply lines, drains, or electrical circuits to meet current code. These behind-the-wall upgrades protect your home and affect the total price.
Tile & Material Selection
Large-format tiles, intricate patterns, and natural stone cost more in both materials and labor than standard ceramic. Your tile and material choices are where you have the most control over your budget.
Fixtures & Finishes
Entry-level faucets and vanities versus premium brands can significantly change your overall budget. We help you choose quality fixtures that balance style, durability, and cost.
Project Timeline
Expedited schedules or work around holidays can affect availability and cost. We set a realistic timeline up front so your bathroom renovation stays on track and on budget.

FAQ
Do I need a permit for bathroom remodeling in Arlington, TX?
Many bathroom remodels in Arlington require permits, especially when plumbing, electrical, or structural changes are involved. We handle the permits and make sure the work passes inspection. The City of Arlington Building Inspections department oversees permits for residential projects.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Plan on 4 to 5 weeks for a bathroom remodel once materials are on site, plus the city permit review. You get a written schedule before work starts, and we call the same day if anything changes.
Can you convert my tub to a walk-in shower?
What's the best flooring for bathrooms?
Porcelain tile is the most popular choice for Arlington bathrooms due to its durability, water resistance, and design versatility. Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) is another excellent option, offering comfort and waterproof properties. We’ll help you choose based on your style, budget, and maintenance preferences.
Why is waterproofing important in a bathroom remodel?
Proper waterproofing prevents moisture from penetrating walls and floors, which can cause mold, rot, and structural damage. We install waterproof membranes in shower areas and slope the floor for proper drainage. This upfront investment protects your home and your remodeling investment for years to come.
