The general contractor managed the entire process perfectly, from pulling permits to executing the final tile work. They updated all the commercial plumbing, installed sleek modern fixtures, and even completed some minor kitchen remodeling in our employee break room. We have a home close to River Legacy Park and Ballpark Way, and the extreme Texas weather made us realize we urgently needed replacement windows. After speaking with Southern Home Remodeling, we hired them for the windows and decided to proceed with a full bathroom remodeling job as well. The shower remodeling phase was completed incredibly fast, and the new walk in shower features gorgeous custom tile work and updated plumbing. The general contractor was highly communicative and ensured the entire residential remodeling project met our exact standards. Our home looks beautiful and feels so much more energy efficient now. I had these guys remodeled my shower to be more accessible due to a health condition.  They took care of everything for me from dealing with the city permits, fixtures selection and tile and glass finishes. They also mounted grab bars and updated my door openings so I can access my bathroom with ease. Southern Home Remodeling is a very professional remodeling company who does great work. I have now worked with them on two projects and will continue to work with them. They are wonderful communicators and transparent through the whole process. They understand the permit process and work well with the city. Chris is great with talking through ideas, providing solutions and helping creative dreams come through; like turning a laundry closet into a butler’s pantry and a dedicated pot filler for my pups! Not only are they capable of taking on a vast array of construction/remodeling tasks; they are also very trustworthy. I've worked with Southern Home Remodeling twice for bathroom renovations. Both times, I've been impressed with their project management and quality of work. Before they start, a project manager will visit and send an itemized quotes for the work you describe along with budgets for things like tile selection and hardware. Communication is great with SHR. I've always known when their crews were scheduled to arrive and if there would be any schedule changes in advance. They use plastic coverings and paper to help keep things clean and even send cleaners afterwards to ensure you're getting a ready to use remodel the day they finish. Both bathroom projects took a couple weeks to complete with crews coming in nearly daily. The demo team in both projects have gotten a bit overzealous and damaged nearby cabinets or dry wall. In both cases, SHR made the repairs covered under the original quote. Working with Southern Home Remodeling is all around an excellent experience, so what are you waiting for?

The herringbone pattern that we wanted was done beautifully by the tile crew.  The plumbers who rerouted the water lines were just as professional.  Of course we cannot forget the demolition crew who demolished the old tub and shower with minimal dust and debris. Southern Home Remodeling did various projects to upgrade things around our home.  They converted our small bathroom from a tub/shower type to a walk-in shower, replace deteriorated exterior siding and roof fascia boards and repainted the entire exterior.  They are knowledgeable about construction and take the time to explain what they are doing.  The bathroom conversion work was first class and I think it is the best looking small bathroom I have seen. After we purchased a home the shower leaked and destroyed our bathroom and adjacent bedroom. Southern Home Remodeling not only repaired the damage, they helped us redesign our bathroom and we now have our dream shower. They explained the process throughly, included pricing that included all the materials and shower fixtures, and since they were so through we did not have any change orders. I rarely provide personal recommendations however I highly recommend using Southern Home Remodeling.
